Meetings at Tri-County At A Glance

Family Support Group—1st Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the main meeting room, Tri-County Mental Health Services. (Support Group Flyer PDF)

NAMI Family Support Group—3rd Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in the lobby conference room, Tri-County Mental Health Services.

Tri-County's Older Adult Services offers numerous presentations to help for church or agency staff, community and caregivers. Learn more.

Aging and Mental Health Coalition of Kansas City North—4th Thursday of each month, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Upstairs meeting room, Tri-County Mental Health Services. (The November meeting is the 3rd Thursday of the month.) See the 2013 Schedule of meetings and topics.

The Northland Coalition usually (depending if the room is available) meets on the third Wednesday of each month, 11:30 AM in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of the Maple Woods Human Service Building, 3100 NE 83rd Street, 64119. Lunch is provided at no cost. Please RSVP for each meeting you will be attending at karas@tri-countymhs.org or by calling 816-877-0401. Support for Families Dealing with Mental Illness

Tri-County sponsors a monthly support group for families facing the challenge of a loved one with a mental illness. (Support Group Flyer PDF)

The family support group meets the first Wednesday of each month to provide support and information.

With frequent guest speakers, the discussions include tips and tools for supporting a friend, family member or loved one with mental illness, along with sharing and support from others with similar experiences. Refreshments are served.

Family support meetings are 6 to 7:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month, in Room 140 at Tri-County Mental Health Services.

A similar family support group is sponsored at Tri-County and organized by the National Alliance on Mental Illness. This group emphasizes families supporting and providing information for each other. It meets the third Wednesday of the month in the Tri-County lobby conference room, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Senior Meetings Every Month

Tri-County sponsors the Aging and Mental Health Coalition of Kansas City North meeting the fourth Thursday of each month, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. See the 2013 Schedule of meetings and topics

Location: Tri-County Mental Health's upstairs conference room in Northland Human Services Building (there will be signs), 3100 NE 83rd Street, Kansas City, MO 64119. (The November and December meetings will be rescheduled for holdiays; call (816) 468-0400 Ext. 153 for more information).

Northland Coalition

The award-winning Northland Coalition holds meetings at 11:30am on the third Wednesday of every month. Meetings are held in the 2nd floor conference room at Tri County Mental Health.

Northland Coalition’s affiliate community chapters are all sponsored by Tri-County Mental Health and hold their meetings as listed: Excelsior Springs SAFE (Supporting Abuse Free Environments) Coalition: 3-4 pm every third Wednesday of each month in the Excelsior Springs high school library.

Kearney-Holt Community Acting Now- 2nd Thursday at 6pm at the Old Firehouse Community Building

Lawson CIA (Cardinals In Action): First Monday of every month, various times and locations, please call 816-877-0401

Liberty Alliance for Youth: 12 pm every second Wednesday at the Liberty School District Central Office.

Missouri City PERC (Parents and Educators for Responsible Choices): Every fourth Tuesday at 4 pm in the Missouri City School Library

North Platte Community In Action- 2nd Thursday at 3:30pm at North Platte High School in the Library

Park Hill Community Alliance for Youth: 11:30 am every second Monday of January, March, May, September, and November. Location TBD- please call 816-877-0498
