High Grades for Mental Health Care at Tri-County

Tri-County Mental Health Services has received outstanding grades from its clients who were asked to evaluate program quality at the mental health organization serving Clay, Platte and Ray counties. Nearly all of the grades were above 90 percent, while several key areas earned approval as high as 100 percent.

“We are very pleased that our consumer satisfaction is so favorable,” noted Tri-County CEO Tom Cranshaw. “We have done this even while serving more people and with more services than ever before. And our services are more integrated than ever before, including better treatment for those with co-occurring challenges of mental illness and substance addiction.”

Each year, Tri-County surveys its clients who are served in programs ranging from employment assistance to in-home counseling, physician and medication services and day programs. The results were consistently high, with most earning 90-100 percent approval ratings.

Cranshaw cited both Tri-County’s staff and the network of providers who serve consumers throughout the Northland “It’s a tremendous credit to our dedicated team care providers,” he said. “Tri-County has an excellent team that works hard to become a provider of choice for Northland consumers who have a brain disease that is known as mental illness.”

Quality Improvement Manager Christie Holm said Tri-County clients were surveyed individually in the programs that served them. Some were given a single questionnaire while others were surveyed throughout the year.

The following are just some of the results of the data Tri-County collected during fiscal year 2009:
